The Diaconal Mission Service Team Logo consists of the baptismal candle, enlightened with the flame of the Holy Spirit.

The baptismal candle and flame of the Holy Spirit are elements that represent all of the faithful whom the team seeks to animate in their participation in the mission of Jesus for the world.

The diaconal cross represents the team. It is an eight pointed "cross of the beatitudes". Each point represents one of the beatitudes, which are a summary statement of Jesus' own way of proceeding in mission.

The cross is black for the suffering that Christ still undergoes in his poor and most abandoned members. The deacon's stole is white symbolizing the victory of the mission already achieved in the joy of the Resurrection.
